With our departure date now confirmed, it is with some excitement that we have booked the first flights of our (hopefully) wonderful trip!
Our slightly revised plans have use heading to San Francisco thanks to United Airlines (rather than LA, pardon the title pun) with a view to doing a short bit of sightseeing there and in the surrounding area (Yosemite & the Napa Valley are on the list) before our overland trek down the Baja Peninsula!
This flight became our preference, as we would much prefer to have a layover, however brief (2 hours in Sydney will be a breeze) at the beginning of a lengthy flight, rather then have to connect via LAX when tired at the other end of this Pacific Ocean crossing!
Our first flights are booked!
Hopefully before too long we’ll be munching on some delicious Mexican Fish Tacos!
